AP World 2/27/12

Students need to write a Continuity and Change over Time essay for class on Wednesday. The essay is on the Continuity and Changes over Time in China between the years 1368-1796. They will find information about this essay in Chapters 12 and 20 of their textbooks. I will be helping students with this essay during the smart moment tomorrow.

2/23/12 AP World History

(This is for after class on Thursday) The AP Students need to finish the charts that they got in class on Thursday 2/23 for homework that will be collected Monday. They also need to be ready for a RQ on all of chapter 20 on Monday.

2/22/12 Geography

The following places will be on the Map Quiz on Friday:

2/21 AP World

AP students need to read chapters 9 and 10 in the green document book. They need to create a list of sim and dif between the Ottoman and Mughal Empires and explain why there are sims and difs. Finally they need to write a detailed thesis statement for a comparative essay on Ottoman and Mughal. (DO NOT write an entire essay, just a thesis statement.) This will all be collected Thursday. By Monday Feb. 23rd have all of chapter 20 read and be ready for a RQ.

AP World 2/16/12

Students took a test today on Chapters 16-18. The students need to read all of Chapter 19 by Tuesday and be ready for a possible reading quiz. The chart given out in class will be collected for a grade on Tuesday. I know this seems like a lot of reading but we have got to get moving if we are going to be ready for the AP Exam in May! Its a short chapter and you have 5 days until our next class!

AP students need to finish reading chapter 18 pages 229 to end of chapter and be ready for a RQ Tuesday. Review session will be Wednesday after school. Test on chapter 16-18 on Thursday.

Geo 2/10/12

Geo students need to finish review sheets and be ready to take the Latin America test on Monday. Review sheets will be collected for a grade Monday.

1st and 6th period students don't have homework tonight but 4th period students need to complete their Cuba economic activity worksheet. This will be collected for a grade on Thursday.

Geo students don't have any homework this weekend but they do need to be studying for Map Quiz that we will have on Tuesday. The following places will be on the Map Quiz:
