Both 3rd and 6th period classes wrote their CCOT essays in class. Before next class all students need to read pages 398-412 of chapter 14 and be ready for a possible reading quiz. 3rd period will take their test on chapters 12-15 on January 3rd and 6th period will take it on January 4th. There will be an after school study session on January 2nd.

AP World History NEW POLICY for EXTRA CREDIT
For extra credit you can use parent express to find your lowest reading quiz grade. Use the chapter that the quiz was on and answer the questions listed at the very begining of the chapter. The questions are identified by the blue squares. For example, there are four questions on page 227 that you would answer if chapter 8 were your lowest reading quiz grade. You can do this for up to 3 reading quizzes! This is due before the end of the marking period (November 5th).

2/21 AP World
AP students need to read chapters 9 and 10 in the green document book. They need to create a list of sim and dif between the Ottoman and Mughal Empires and explain why there are sims and difs. Finally they need to write a detailed thesis statement for a comparative essay on Ottoman and Mughal. (DO NOT write an entire essay, just a thesis statement.) This will all be collected Thursday. By Monday Feb. 23rd have all of chapter 20 read and be ready for a RQ.
