Took notes on Population Geography.  No homework.

11/30 AP World

Students need to finish reading Chapter 12 for homework. Possible RQ next class.

Geography Tests

5th Period- Unit 4 test on Wednesday 11/28
2nd and 4th Period- Unit 4 Test on Thursday 11/29

4th Period will need to complete their population homework before the class after the test.  It will be collected as a grade.

AP World History 11/26-11/30

All AP Students will take their chapters 8-11 test on Wednesday and Thursday.  After the test they will be given two worksheets that will need to be completed for two homework grades.  They will be collected the class after the test.  Also students need to read chapter 12 pages 341-356 before the class after the test. Be ready for a reading quiz!

11/19 and 11/20 AP World

Over the Thanksgiving break all the AP students need to write a DBQ essay.  The essay can be found at the begining of the textbook.  It is the essay about ritual in the Americas.  Make sure you include all the required points on the rubric.
Students also need to finish reading chapter 11 and they need to bring their review sheets to the next class.  We will be testing on chapter 8-11 on Wednesday and Thursday.

11/15 and 11/16 AP World History

3rd and 6th period both need to read pages 309-319 in chapter 11 before next class.  They also need to be ready to write a comaprative essay on the Abbasid Caliphate and Chinese Song. Comapre the political, social, and economic characteristics of each.

11/14 AP World

6th period- HW read pages 291 to the end of chapter 10.  Bring in a list of Sim and Dif between the Abassid Caliphate and Tang OR Song Dynasty.  Comparative essay on Tuesday.

Geo 11/13

5th period- no homework.

AP WH 11/13

3rd Period- Read pages 291 to the end of chapter 10.  Prepare some sim/dif to share in class on Thursday for a comparative essay on Abbasid Caliphate and Tang OR Song.  You will write this comparative essay on Monday 11/19.

Geo 11/12

2nd and 4th period took notes on economic geo.  2nd period needs to finish their developed vs. developing sheet for homework if they have not already.

AP World 11/12

6th Period Read pages 283-291.

11/8 AP World

6th Period- Finish reading chapter 9 pages 263-277 be ready for a possible RQ on Monday.

AP World 11/7

3rd Period took notes on the first half of chapter 9 today.  For homework they need to finish the Chapter 9 chart and read the rest of Chapter 9 pages 263-277.  Be ready for a RQ next class.

11/1 and 11/2 World Geography

All students took their Quarter One tests.  2nd Period students need to compelte the Unit 4 vocabulary by Wed 11/7, it will be collected for a grade.  4th and 5th Period students need to keep their vocab in their notebooks but do not need to complete it for homework.

11/2/12 AP World

3rd Period- took their Quarter One Exam today. After the test they worked on a chart for chapter 9 that must be complete by Friday 11/9, it will be collected for a grade then. Read pages 253-263 by next class and be ready for a RQ!
