2/22 and 2/23 3rd and 4th Period APWH

We took notes on the first part of Chapter 20 in class today and we examined several primary sources associated with China and Japan.  Students need to finish reading Chapter 20 for homework and be ready for a reading quiz on all of Chapter 20 next class.

Charts were collected for a grade and students took a quiz on the charts from chapter 19.  We went over the key information from Chapter 19.  Students need to read pages 574-586 in chapter 20 before next class.  Possible RQ.

2/16 and 2/17 3rd and 4th Period APWH

Students took their test on Chapters 16-18 in class today.  After the test students were given a chart for Chapter 19 and given time to work on it in class.  If you were absent you can make your own chart on your own paper.  The chart has 3 rows: Ottoman, Safavid, and Mughal.  The chart has 9 columns:  Location and Dates, Reasons for rise to power, Strengths, Weaknesses, Relations with Europe, Architecture, Religion, Economy, and Role of Women.  This chart is due next class for a homework grade.  Possible quiz on the information in the chart.
