We completed the review for chapters 30-33 today in class.  4th Period will take the test on Tuesday 05/26 and 5th Period will take the test on Wednesday 05/27.

5/6 and 5/7 5th and 4th Period AP World History

Students took notes on chapter 30 today.  They need to define the key terms for chapter 31 for HW and bring them to class for a grade.  Quiz on Chapter 31 key terms next class.

5/4 and 5/5 5th and 4th Period AP WH

Students took their chapter 28 and 29 test in class.  For homework they need to define the key terms for Chapter 30.  They should do this on their own paper and bring it to class for a grade.  Be ready for a quiz on the terms.

Chapter 29 notes

This is mainly for my 5th period class.  It's the end of chapter 29 notes.  Don't foget about the mock AP exam this Saturday and I'll be posting the 28 and 29 test review video on Friday.

After School Study Sessions

On Wednesday 4/29 I will be staying after in room 220 to review the years 600BCE-600CE.  On Thursday 4/30 Dragone will be staying after in room 014 to cover the years 600CE-1450CE.

AP WH 5th and 4th Period 4/27-5/1

We are continuing our study of WWI and WWII in chapters 28 and 29.  On Thursday 4/30 5th period will need to write a comparative essay comparing WWI to WWII, 4th period will complete this on Friday 5/1.  5th period will take the chapter 28 and 29 test on Monday 5/4 and 4th Period will take it Tuesday 5/5.

4/22 and 4/23 5th and 4th AP WH

Students took notes on chapter 28 in class today.  Students were given a key term sheet for chapter 29.  This is due for a grade next class.  Students need to read the sections of their textbooks that the key terms are found in.  Simply writing the definition will be good enough to get homework credit but it will not properly prepare you for the test!  The next test we take will be on Chpaters 28 and 29.  Date for the test is TBD.  Also don't forget that your thesis statements for your research papers are due for a grade next class.

4/20 and 4/21 AP WH 5th and 4th Period

5th and 4th Period started taking notes on Chapter 28 in class.  Students need to finish reading Chapter 28 before next class.
5th Period has to turn in their research paper thesis statement to me on Friday 4/24.
4th Period has to turn in their research paper thesis statement to me on Monday 4/27.
These will be collected for a HW grade.

4/16 and 4/17 AP WH 5th and 4th Period

Students took a quiz on Chapters 26 and 27 today.  Students need to read the first half of Chapter 28 before next class (pages 799-812) before next class.  Be ready for a reading quiz.

AP World 4/14 and 4/15 5th and 4th Period

Students took the Chapters 21-25 test today.  After the test they began defining all the key terms for chapters 26 and 27.  These terms are due next class for a homework grade.  Students will need the terms to participate in a game we will be playing in class.

AP MOCK EXAM DATE

Saturday May 2nd 8am-11am in Cafe 3 at Menchville High.
