AP World 4/28 HOMEWORK

Use Chapter 32 to answer the following questions.
1. Give a detalied account of the Cold War including information about all the bold words in that section. (This answer should be about 8 sentences long!)
2. Describe how the green movement started and what it stood for in the 1960s and what it became in the 1970s.
3. When and who started the European Union and why did it start?
4. Give a detalied account of the women's revolution in the 1950s, 60s, and 70s. (Again detalied means write A LOT)
5. In the section "Eastern Europe After World War II: A Soviet Empire" list several things the Soviets did to try to ensure the success and possible spread of communism.

This is due Monday.

World War II Timeline instructions:
Using your textbook, flow of history app, and idea sketch you are going to create a timeline of events in WWII using idea sketch. You will need to make 14 boxes with the following dates as the title:

1935-1936
1937
1938
Sept. 1st 1939
Sept. 1940
Mid 1941
Dec. 7th 1941
Feb. 1942
1943
1944
April 30th 1945
Two Conferences 1945
Aug 6th and 9th 1945

For each box you will need to give a description of events that took place during that time.
